1. the view from my very big bedroom window. the way it frames the changing leaves against the blue sky, the smoky nighttime fog cut by moonbeams, the purples and peachy streaks of the sunrise and sunset over the ithaca hills, the twinkling lights of distant houses when darkness falls
2. when i see a service dog in the library (quietly, patiently sitting there next to its owner/trainer, all floppy and sweet)

4. cold mornings wrapped up in a thick comforter and refusing to get up even when you've hit the sleep button on your alarm for the 7th time

7. the adrenaline you get after hitting send on a message that you feel like you need to send, but you're not so sure about
